Refund Policy
Effective date: [31/3/2026]
Last updated: [31/3/2026]
This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, rescheduling, inactivity, and related payment issues are handled for Capital & Competence University ("CCU"). By purchasing a course, membership, subscription, mentorship service, live session, or related offer, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. General Principle
CCU provides digital educational materials, structured learning environments, mentorship access, recorded content, live sessions, community access, and other time-based or access-based services. Because value may be delivered immediately through digital access, curriculum visibility, mentorship reservation, live participation, replay access, or community entry, refunds are limited once access has begun or scheduled value has been reserved.
2. Courses and Digital Educational Materials
Unless otherwise stated in writing at checkout for a specific offer, course purchases and digital educational materials are generally non-refundable once the student has logged in and started using the course, curriculum, or related materials.
For purposes of this policy, "started using" may include any of the following:
- logging into the course area after purchase;
- accessing lessons, modules, videos, downloads, quizzes, or other materials;
- beginning progression through the curriculum; or
- otherwise using the educational content in a meaningful way.
A refund request for a course or digital educational program may only be considered if:
- the materials were not meaningfully accessed or used;
- the request is made within 30 calendar days of purchase; and
- the account activity reasonably supports that the materials were not used.
If course materials have been accessed, used, downloaded where applicable, or substantially engaged, the purchase will generally be treated as final except where required by law.
3. Memberships, Subscriptions, and Community-Linked Access
If a purchase includes subscription access, recurring billing, or community-linked benefits, the following rules apply unless otherwise stated in writing:
- once a user has logged in and started using the subscription materials, community, or related member benefits, the payment for that billing period is generally non-refundable;
- once a user has entered the community environment, used member-only resources, or activated subscription-based access, the payment for that period is generally non-refundable;
- cancellation may stop future renewals, but it does not usually create a refund for the current billing period once access has started, unless required by law.
Users are responsible for canceling recurring billing before the next renewal date if they do not wish to continue.
4. Mentorship Services
Mentorship services involve dedicated time, preparation, scheduling, and reserved educational capacity.
Unless otherwise stated in writing:
- once a mentorship session has started, it is non-refundable;
- once a mentorship program or reserved mentorship service has begun in a meaningful way, related fees may be treated as non-refundable;
- if a mentorship slot, live mentorship block, or reserved session was held specifically for the student, refunds may be limited once scheduling and preparation have taken place.
5. One-on-One Mentorship
One-on-one mentorship sessions are reserved specifically for the student.
Unless otherwise stated in writing:
- once a one-on-one session starts, it is non-refundable;
- if the student wishes to reschedule, at least 48 hours' notice should be given where possible;
- rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours' notice may be denied or treated as used time;
- no-shows may be treated as completed sessions and may be non-refundable.
If CCU reschedules a one-on-one mentorship session, reasonable efforts will be made to provide a replacement session.
6. Live Sessions, Group Sessions, and Marathon Sessions
For group sessions, webinars, live educational environments, or marathon-style sessions:
- once the session has started, it is generally non-refundable;
- once replay access, live participation, or member-only access tied to the event has been provided, the payment is generally non-refundable;
- if CCU cancels or materially reschedules a session, CCU may offer rescheduling, credit, or refund at its discretion or where required by law.
7. Applied Capital Program and Structured Capital-Related Access
Fees connected to the Applied Capital Program or related structured capital pathways are generally treated as fees for educational access, structured participation, execution-linked membership features, reporting environments, and related service delivery — not as deposits, not as guaranteed returns, and not as refundable trading capital.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, once ACP-related access, participation, or delivery begins, related fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
8. Valid Refund Requests
Where a refund request is valid under this policy or required by law, CCU may process the refund to the original payment method.
Approved refunds may be processed:
- the same day in some cases;
- within 1 to 3 business days in many cases; or
- within a reasonable period depending on payment processor timing, platform limitations, banking systems, or review requirements.
Actual receipt times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
9. Duplicate Charges, Billing Errors, and Technical Issues
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, charged more than once, or experienced a technical issue that prevented reasonable access, contact us promptly at capitalcompetenceuniversity@gmail.com. Where appropriate, we may investigate and correct billing errors, duplicate charges, or access issues.
10. Inactivity and Account Status
CCU may treat extended inactivity as grounds for account review, deactivation, or termination of access.
Unless otherwise stated for a specific program:
- prolonged inactivity in the range of approximately 7 to 12 months may result in account review, access removal, archive status, or termination;
- inactivity does not create a refund right;
- terminated or inactive accounts may lose access to certain services, community areas, or time-sensitive benefits.
If a program explicitly includes lifetime access or another stated access term, that offer language may control instead.
11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, please contact us directly so we can try to resolve the issue. Improper, abusive, or fraudulent chargebacks may result in suspension or termination of access where permitted by law.
12. Exceptions Required by Law
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws that apply in your jurisdiction.
